The theme of “Memory Lab” is for participants to create and share the artwork themselves.
Starting with oil paintings, the exhibition presented a range of works, including an installation where melted beeswax was poured over an old tricycle, embedding a part of oneself into the object to symbolize the formation of descendants, and another piece that connected memories to generate new ones.
This was the first solo exhibition depicting the path pursued through themes of past and future, reincarnation, and the concept of en — both as fate and as a circle.
