FRACTALS Concept

This exhibition illustrates how the memories of the snail, mediated by fungi, bridge the past and future, continuously transforming into new forms.
By adopting a “fractal” approach, it explores the themes of “Erosion,” “Connection,” and “Formation” to express the cycles and regeneration of life

「すべては無常であり、生まれ、変化し、消滅する運命にある。」
“All things are impermanent; they arise and cease—that is their nature.”
This Buddhist philosophy of reincarnation is reflected in these works, capturing the fleeting yet ever-evolving nature of existence.

FRACTALS コンセプト

菌類がカタツムリの記憶を媒介し、過去と未来をつなぎながら、絶えず新たな形へと変容していく過程を描いています。
無限に連鎖を繰り返す「フラクタル」の視点を取り入れ、“侵食”、“つながり”、“生成”の3つのテーマを通して、生命の循環と再生のプロセスを表現しました。

「すべては無常であり、生まれ、変化し、消滅する運命にある。」
この輪廻転生の思想を空間全体に浸透させ、移ろいの中にも常に新たな形を生み出していく――その願いが、この展示には込められています。
