Collect Call – iMANiM

The images within a square frame present three perspectives of memory: (1) an image seen from the inside, (2) an image seen in the mind, (3) an image seen by another. Living fungi connect their world, link each memory, and eventually develop into a story. They spread and propagate through the world like living organisms, beyond our control.

「記憶と浸食」のお話し。一つ一つ、四角い枠に収まっている絵たち。この絵には、記憶を象った3つの視点がある。 ①自己から見た形像 ②頭の中で見ている心像 ③他社から見た自己の写像個々をつなぎ合わせるとで、想像が事実に変化し、物語へと発展していく… 様々な布地が折り重なるコラージュと、細かい刺繍は、生きた粘菌。この生物（達）は、人間が持っている記憶を紡ぎながら、この世界を浸食していき、拡大していく… ・事実なんて、記憶でしか成り立っていなく、捉え方の違いで現実は変わる。私たちの抑える事のできない記憶や事実が、生物のように蔓延り、世の中へと拡大している。そんな言葉たちを、この作品に込めたかった。
