Awakening – iMANiM

At the beginning, I had no image in mind— I was just standing in front of a blank, entire roll of canvas. So I simply pressed the brush onto it, making a single dot in that empty space. From there, lines began to emerge, dancing across the surface. It felt as if I myself was dancing inside the painting. Strangely, as I approached the end, I realized… This was a moment of awakening— the birth of life.

キャンバスロールを丸々使った作品。描き初めはなんのイメージも湧いてこなかったから、まずはこの真っ白い空間に点、って筆で押して見た。そこから生まれる線たちが、まるで踊っているようで心地よかった。不思議と、終わりに行くにつれ、これは生命の誕生なのだなっと感じた。目覚めの時間。
