Hand Drip – iMANiM

Like jotting down a quick note in the corner of a notebook, I scribble scenes I’ve seen. I always start by drawing lines to shape the outlines, then add color later. People walking their dogs, the chaotic flood of information in the city… It all felt so tangled, it reminded me of a beehive. So I decided to just draw that instead.

ノートの片隅にメモするように、目にした光景を落書きする。まずは線で輪郭を描き、あとで色を塗る。下書きはない。犬を連れた人たち、街に溢れる情報はぐちゃぐちゃしててなんだか蜂の巣を思い出しから、いっその事それを描いた。
