Heartbeat Song

Autumn made me feel the urge to create works inspired by plants, insects, small animals — things you might find in a garden. I don’t know why, but I can’t stop feeling inspired and thrilled. It feels like something is about to begin. It’s a little scary, a little exciting — my emotions are all mixed up.

秋が来るといつも植物とか、昆⾍とか、⼩動物とか、庭にいそうな⼀コマを描きたくなる。そして勝手に外から1人でに、⾼揚感がやってくる。何かが始まる予感がするのだ。そういう時ってちょっと怖くって、楽しみでよく分からない気持ちになる。
